When does this privacy policy apply?

This privacy policy applies to all personal data that IVRA processes of everyone who has (or has had) contact with IVRA, like our visitors, customers and business contact persons.

What are personal data?

Personal data means all information about an identified or identifiable natural person, such as, e.g., contact details. Special personal data are, for example, data regarding race or ethnic background, criminal past, religious or philosophical conviction, trade union membership, data on health or sexual conduct.

PURPOSES OF THE DATA PROCESSING

Performance of contracts

Your personal data are processed by us for the concluding and performance of contracts and maintaining the relationships ensuing therefrom, including related marketing activities. For this purpose we process your name, telephone number, e-mail address, company name, any financially or fiscally relevant data, and the related correspondence.

We use these data because they are necessary for the contract or the concluding or winding up of the contract. We store these data as long as necessary to be able to properly perform our services and contracts, for example, in connection with maintenance or guarantees. After this period of time we will destroy the data, unless we are obliged by law to store the data for a longer period of time.

 Click behaviour and visitor data

When people use our website we obtain general visitor data. This concerns the IP address of your computer, the time of viewing and data sent by your browser. We use these data for statistical analyses of visitor and click behaviour on the website. In addition, this allows us to optimise the working of the website. We try to pseudonymise or anonymise these data as much as possible. The data are not provided to third parties who could use them for their own purposes.

We use these data because of our legitimate interest in monitoring and improving our website. We store anonymised data (which no longer contain personal data) as long as they are relevant for us.

Cookies

When you visit our website cookies are placed on your PC for various purposes. These cookies can be functional or analytical and some track your surfing behaviour. That is why your explicit consent is requested for cookies. Cookies process personal data, such as the IP address. Contact or registration form

You can use the contact form to ask us questions and make requests.

We use your name and e-mail address for this. If you pay online, we also use the payment data which we receive from your payment provider. See the heading "Performance of contracts".

These data form the basis of the contract. We store this information until we know for certain that you are satisfied with our response. If you have made a contract with us, we will keep the information until the order has been handled and for seven years after that (the statutory storage period). 

Newsletter

You can subscribe to our newsletter. You will receive a monthly e-mail with information, news and developments of our organisation and products and the law and you will be kept abreast of products, services and offers of IVRA. You can terminate this subscription at any time. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link.

Your e-mail address will only be added to the list of subscribers with your express consent. These data are stored until you terminate the subscription. 

Provision to other companies or institutions (third parties)

Under no condition will we give your personal data to other companies or institutions, unless this is necessary for our service or if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. if the police demands such if a crime is suspected). We will inform you in advance what other companies will be receiving your data.

With whom will your data be shared?

Distribution and logistics partners

In order to be able to complete your order, we work together with logistics partners. These parties receive your customer number, order number, name and delivery address to ensure that your order is processed in the right way.

Other external service providers

We also engage other external service providers to help with various things. Sometimes they need personal data for this. We only share the data which are necessary for the assignment which the external service provider carries out for us. We do not sell your data to these service providers or other third parties. We make contracts with all external service providers in which we agree what they may do with the data.

The type of work that our external service providers carry out for us are:

  • support for the provision of our digital services such as hosting, maintenance and support of our websites and applications;
  • support for our customer service;
  • support for our advertising and marketing campaigns;
  • providing financial services, such as payment services, collection agencies and credit reference agencies.

USE OF COOKIES

A cookie is a small text file that is placed on the hard disc of your computer when you visit our website. IVRA takes protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to combat abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted publication and unauthorised change.
